If there’s one thing that keeps us from sticking to our food goals its HUNGER! When you want something that’s quick and easy or you’re craving something sweet. This recipe is great for that quick grab on the go or when you have that sweet tooth that wont go away! Its also super simple and easy to make.  I found this recipe at runningwithspoons.com and our family loves them! Hope you all will too!

  • 2 cups gluten free oats
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 6 TBSP honey
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup dairy free milk (I used oat)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup add-ins (chocolate chips, dried fruit, nuts, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F and line a small pan or edged baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, almond flour and salt. Add the honey, almond butter, dairy free milk, and vanilla. Stir in your add-ins (I used chocolate chips and pecans).
  3. Transfer mixture into baking pan, using spatula and spread it out evenly while slightly packing it down.
  4. Bake for 20-22 minutes until edges turn golden brown. Remove them from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes before cutting. Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
