The need for refreshing treats skyrockets in the summer! This one definitely satisfies that sweet tooth! The nut butter definitely adds that extra YUM factor too! It will take some time freezing, but it will be worth it.

Ingredients

  • 2 Bananas (cut in half)
  • 2/3 cup-1 cup Almond Butter
  • 2/3 cup Chocolate chips (I used these ones: https://amzn.to/3vp8hGl)
  • 4 Popsicle sticks

Directions

  1. Place popsicle sticks inside bananas and freeze 2 hours up to overnight.
  2. Place almond butter in microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds until slightly melted.
  3. Dip frozen bananas in almond butter (use spoon or knife to help evenly coat it) place on parchment paper on plate and freeze for 2 hours up to overnight.
  4. Once fully frozen, melt chocolate chips in microwave (30 second increments). Dip almond butter bananas in chocolate until evenly coated. At this point the cold banana will dry the chocolate after a few minutes and you can enjoy your banana then or store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
