There’s nothing like a good apple crisp on a chilly fall day!
Ingredients
- Apple layer:
- 6-8 Apples, peeled and sliced
- 3 Tbsp GF flour (I use this one: https://amzn.to/3RKEDT9)
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar (I like this one: https://amzn.to/3H3YXtY)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Crisp Topping:
- 1 Cup GF flour
- 1 Cup coconut sugar
- 1 Cup GF oats
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 Cup vegan butter, softened (I used miyokos)
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray casserole dish with coconut oil and set aside.
- Apple Layer: Combine sliced apples, coconut sugar, GF flour, and cinnamon in a large bowl and toss until well coated. Layer on the bottom of casserole dish.
- Crisp Topping: Add GF flour, Coconut sugar, GF oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in large bowl and mix. Work in softened butter with spoon or fingers until well combined.
- Top apples with crisp topping and bake until apples are tender, about 45 minutes.
