There’s nothing like a good apple crisp on a chilly fall day!

Ingredients

 

  • Crisp Topping:
  • 1 Cup GF flour
  • 1 Cup coconut sugar
  • 1 Cup GF oats
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 Cup vegan butter, softened (I used miyokos)
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray casserole dish with coconut oil and set aside.
  2. Apple Layer: Combine sliced apples, coconut sugar, GF flour, and cinnamon in a large bowl and toss until well coated. Layer on the bottom of casserole dish.
  3. Crisp Topping: Add GF flour, Coconut sugar, GF oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in large bowl and mix. Work in softened butter with spoon or fingers until well combined.
  4. Top apples with crisp topping and bake until apples are tender, about 45 minutes.
