Ingredients

  • 4 Apples
  • 1 Cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil or vegan butter
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Cut the apples in half and remove the core.
  3. Add all topping ingredients into a bowl and combine well.
  4. Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of pecan crumble onto the apple halves.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until apples are tender but not mushy.
  6. Serve apples warm. Top with vanilla ice cream and drizzle with caramel (optional).
